The article analyses the $22.5 billion USD (1.75 lakh crores) relief fund decision implemented by the Government of India in order to mitigate the struggles faced by migrant workers and the Indian market. While the fund provides for schemes including double free food rations, helping senior citizens, workers in construction sector, it also promises income support. The article opines on the relief fund and the effectiveness of the implementation of these measures with regard to migrant workers.
